“I value ownership and accountability because I know no one can do things for me. Results come from a consistent exercise work ethic and healthy choices.”
Kirsten deBiasi, CPT, TPI-F2, is a TPI certified golf trainer at Performance based in New Canaan at Halo Fitness. She specializes in golf corrective exercises that are based on balance stability and mobility, as they are crucial foundations to speed, strength and power in the game of golf.
As a personal trainer, Kirsten came to realize that she could apply her skills in a specific niche: golf. This married her love for sports fitness and the game of golf. As a golf trainer, Kirsten is passionate about motivating people to move better, perform to their best ability and use proper form. This is important not just for achieving results, but for preventing future injuries, as well.
Kirsten sets up her clients for success with personalized fitness plans include proper nutrition, adequate sleep and sufficient recovery — it’s the quality, not quantity that makes the biggest difference.
In her free time, Kirsten is all about competitive rowing (she’s a sculler). But in her actual free time, she likes to snowboard, bike, play golf (of course), do some gardening and bake sourdough bread.
