“Success—whether in rehab, training, or life—is built on the smallest details. I believe that paying attention to the little things leads to the biggest breakthroughs.”
Jenny McGuinness, PT, DPT, is a Physical Therapist, who has been an integral part of Performance since 2008, starting as an aide before earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and returning as a practicing PT in 2014. She has grown alongside the clinic, witnessing its evolution while upholding its high standards of care and professionalism.
Jenny is dedicated to helping patients of all backgrounds regain strength, mobility, and confidence. She has a special place in her heart for those at each bookend of life—both youth and older adults. From her older patients, she has learned that listening is the most powerful clinical tool for effective recovery. With younger athletes, her greatest joy is helping injured and demoralized teens or collegiate athletes return to sport—stronger than before.
A former Division I track and cross-country runner, Jenny remains deeply immersed in endurance sports as a competitive triathlete, Ironman, and ultra-marathoner. Her expertise in sports nutrition, training program design, injury prevention, and strength training makes her an invaluable resource for athletes looking to optimize performance and longevity.
As a mom of two boys and a writer in her spare time, Jenny brings a well-rounded perspective to her work. She fully embodies the "Sweat the Small Stuff" philosophy, believing that attention to the smallest details leads to the biggest breakthroughs in recovery and performance.
For Jenny, Performance isn’t just a workplace—it’s home.
