Care From The Core
Hallie Calderwood, LMT, has always been interested in a service-oriented profession. When her mentor, a gifted healer, encouraged her to consider a more holistic approach to service, she fell in love with massage therapy.
Even after four years of college focusing on American Studies, she found her true purpose and passion at the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado. Part of what drew her to massage therapy was a desire to help others manage the complex relationship with their physical body.
While in Denver, which has one of the most active populations in the country, Hallie honed her skills working on athletes utilizing Swedish, Deep Tissue, Joint Range of Motion and neuromuscular techniques. Then, she returned to the east coast to develop her practice in therapeutic massage.
Hallie believes in truly listening to her clients and responding to both their words and the signals of their body. She applies her skills and intuition to the entire body so the client emerges from the session relieved, centered and grounded. Hallie is thrilled to be working in a progressive, team-based environment at Performance Optimal Health, where each day is an opportunity to learn and grow.
In her off time, Hallie loves to travel, attend live theater, practice singing, yoga and meditation, go hiking and skiing, listen to podcasts and collect useless information about pop-culture.
