Emma Hartshorn
“It’s the small, intentional actions that build trust and lead to meaningful progress. I believe consistency and attention to detail are what truly elevate the care experience.”
Emma Hartshorn, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist with a passion for dance medicine, pediatrics, and adult care. A lifelong dancer, she integrates her love for movement into her clinical approach, drawing on experience working with recreational and competitive dancers of all ages and styles.
She earned her B.S. in Exercise Science from Hofstra University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University. Her clinical experience spans outpatient orthopedics, acute care, and inpatient rehabilitation, giving her a well-rounded foundation to support diverse client needs.
She has a strong interest in pediatric care, shaped by her work teaching dance and in her family’s daycare, and in aging populations, supported by her coursework focused on exercise dosing for older adults. She has attended national conferences and participated in student leadership groups including the AOPT student focus group and APTA's mock House of Delegates.
